Christmas is a time for food, family and giving. Faberdashery certainly have the latter two tied up.

The Somerset, UK company are very much in the 3D printing family, this was not only evident as they made themselves at home in the makers corner/RepRap hub at this year’s TCT Show, but from speaking to pretty much every maker at the stands of Euromold, most mentioned Faberdahsery as a reliable and great filament supplier. You tend to find with makers, that once they’ve found a good filament supplier they stick by them - RichRap swears by their multi-coloured, high quality PLA.

Faberdashery are promoting their Winter Wonder Pack of PLA filament with some serious Christmas giving. The firm are offering a free daily design – released simultaneously on YouMagine and Thingiverse – advent calendar of yuletide goodies with their 25 Days of Making campaign.

We’re up to day ten in the advent calendar and like getting an advent calendar in the sales we’re able to binge on ten days amazing 3D prints ranging from a squirrel cable holder to twisted baubles, still with 15 to come.

(Very) Creative Director, Clare Cunningham said: “Our Winter Wonder Pack has always been massively popular and inspired a lot of cool makes. We thought it would be great this year if we could add another dimension and give people the opportunity to 'make along' with us.”

Each item in '25 Days of Making' corresponds to a particular colour in the pack, so the end result is a gorgeously co-ordinated collection. Additionally Faberdashery's collection has been designed to print in under an hour and should fit on even the smallest build plates.
