In our third interview with 3D Systems at RAPID 2016, Derek Johnson, Product Manager for 3D Systems’ MultiJet Printing product line, speaks about the ProJet MJP 2500 3D printer, an entry level, professional machine designed to deliver high quality productivity and prototyping capabilities in five different materials.
“The 2500 addresses a lot of different applications in a number of industries,” Derek explained. “Any company that’s doing prototyping right now, that’s looking to develop concept models, functional test models - that could range from aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, healthcare, medical device manufacturing - a number of different industries and segments will find usefulness in this new printer.”
We also hear about the market opportunity in the 3D technologies industry to move into functional end use parts and how 3D Systems is addressing that demand with the entire MJP line.
