Hadoro's iPhone case
This one might not be for all our readers, in that it is effectively a mobile phone priced at 55,000 Euros ($75000, £45,000) but it is impressive nevertheless, it’d have to be for that price.
French luxury brand Hadoro, which is headquartered at the heart of the Parisian jewellery industry have created an 18 Carat gold iPhone 5S.
According to their PR the phone was “Designed and printed with 3D technology, the final product was entirely finished by hand. Hadoro's artisans have spent more than 200 hours brushing, polishing and refining the smallest details.”
This is no geared iPhone cover, we all tried to print the first time we got our hands on a 3D printer, this is a serious design piece from a high-end jewellery designer who specialise in Apple accessories.
The case looks impressive and is available in two tones of gold; Yellow or Red Gold 5N (5N being the number brands use to signify the colour of Rose gold). There are only 25 models of each colour available (that’s over 1,000 hours of craftsmanship!) available from the upmarket French clothing and accessories retailer Colette.
Now where’s that Cash4Gold envelope?
