… No! I am Iron Man.
Thanks to 3D Plus Me now we can all be Iron Man, all be Captain America, all be our favourite Baseball player (this editor freely admits his knowledge of Baseball begins and ends with Babe Ruth).
3D Plus Me
Offering a host of officially licensed personalised toys
The scan-to-print service that you’ve barely been able to get near during the 2015 International CES have been demoing their retail 3D personalisation platform to visitors who’ve all been agog at the experience of turning their own face into their favourite superheroes.
With official licenses from Marvel, Major League Baseball, Hasbro and Assassins Creed (with Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter to follow) 3D Plus Me are tapping into not just the zeitgeist of 3D printing and 3D scanning but to long running loves of millions of people.
The process is simple, you sit in a Marvel booth and have your face scanned, you go to the other side of and interact in the intuitive, fun and comprehensive touch screen platform to turn yourself into Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America or any of the other established characters you think of and 3D Plus Me will do the rest.
3D Plus Me Booth
The simple scan pick and print booths look and work great
The rest includes touching up the imperfections of the scan a little and 3D printing using a 3D Systems ProJet 660 and ship directly to the customers address.
The booths will be installed at various retail outlets such as Toys-r-us
