TCT Show + Personalize 2013
The 3D Printing Association (3DPA), a global organisation set up to formalise and give a voice to the 3D printing community, will host a panel discussion at this year’s TCT Show + Personalize to discuss the regulatory challenges facing the 3D printing and additive manufacturing industry.
Taking place on the 1st October, the panel event will comprise of leading industry figures and will be moderated by an independent chair from Inline Policy, a political consultancy for innovative and fast growing industries. The event is designed to identify the major policy and regulatory challenges within the sector and discuss how they can be overcome. The panellists will also explore what the ideal policy and regulatory framework would like and how this would be implemented in different geographical locations.
According to research undertaken by the 3DPA earlier this year, the regulatory environment was identified as a key area of focus for the global community if the industry is to reach its projected market growth to $49.1 billion by 2025.
The 3DPA will also be putting together a comprehensive summary of the panel discussion for distribution to its members and to inform the development of a much wider 3DPA led project into the major policy and regulatory challenges facing the sector.
The panel event will follow a packed two-day TCT Show Conference line-up and will close the final session on day two at 3.45pm. The conference includes names from all areas of the 3D technologies industry including EnvisionTEC, HP, Boeing, Stratasys, Formlabs and many more.
TCT Show + Personalize takes place on the 30th September – 1st October at the NEC, Birmingham. The event is completely free to attend. REGISTER HERE.
