Some Friday morning silliness to start the day, Sad Keanu was an Internet Meme back in 2010. The picture of the Bill & Ted star sitting on a bench in New York eating a sandwich looking particularly glum spread like wildfire, we particularly enjoy BuzzFeed’s ten best Sad Keanu images.
We’ve mentioned previously that the printing of Memes has been pretty big business for Shapeways and that Sad Keanu is one of the community's favourites but this use of it takes it to a whole new level. There are two versions of the Sad Keanu; a little one and an even littler one.
MixeeLabs’ Nancy Liang designed the “Little Sad Keanu doll” an uploaded it to Shapeways. Japanese toy enthusiast IDK bought one and proceeded to place the Matrix man in all manner of amusing scenarios. IDK shared the pics with with the popular, Japanese model making community ‘FG-Site’ where it has had over 5,000 reviews. Check out the gallery above for all these brilliant pics…
