Carbon launched its high-speed CLIP M1 3D printer at AMUG back in April with a host of high-performance, functional materials and an enviable list of high profile partners and customers. Since then the technology has been installed in several 3D printing bureaus across the US and the Silicon Valley company is now planning on expanding its efforts globally thanks to a huge $81 million in strategic investment from major companies and customers.
Exhibiting for the first time outside of the US at TCT Show in the UK, Paul DiLaura and Phil DeSimone talk to TCT about why this investment is so unique to them and how they’re pushing the limits of what is possible from additive to make a true change in the industry.
