SondaSys 01
The SondaSys machine
SondaSys will unveil what it believes to be the first Polish industrial Selective Laser Sintering additive manufacturing machine at formnext powered by TCT later this month.
The company wants to make its own contribution to the effort that is seeing 3D printing incorporated into manufacturing processes because of its speed in building components with reliable materials and will use the Frankfurt trade show to make its first product launch.
Sharing the same name as the company, the platform has been three years in the making with engineers and additive manufacturing specialists undertaking an extensive R&D phase. It has been designed to provide users with precise and high quality parts, while optimising cost.
The system is equipped with an advanced optical system, and all processes are digitally controlled to ensure the high precision of parts. The system’s digital optics and high power laser enable the fast sintering of material, while two exchangeable working chambers allow the user to swap between build areas, depending on the current production needs. Additionally, SondaSys says its optimisation of the working chamber size and gas-insulated production area means there will be less material waste.
Its software is said to be user-friendly thanks to an intuitive interface. Moreover, it allows the user to preview the printing process and parameters live, as the process is underway. A safe and hygienic system, it also supports the latest mobile devices with Wi-Fi compatibility, as well as Ethernet and USB. On the materials side, the SondaSys machine is open platform, which the company expects to further entice industrial users to adopt the system.
SondaSys will exhibit its SLS system at Hall 3.0, Stand G16 of formnext powered by TCT from November 14th – 17th. The company will also announce details of an accompanying cleaning system at the event.
