UK-based 3D printing solutions company, Laser Lines will be showcasing Xact Metal’s accessible metal additive manufacturing technology for the first time at TCT Show next week.
Debuting alongside hardware from the likes of Desktop Metal, Stratasys, and Formlabs, visitors will be able to get a first look at the Xact Metal XM200C metal powder-bed fusion system on booth D60.
First introduced to the North American market at RAPID + TCT last year, this compact, low-cost system is aimed at universities and small to medium businesses for small part prototyping, casting and tooling applications. The machine features an open architecture and uses a patent-pending high-speed gantry system that allows light, simple mirrors to move quickly and consistently above the powder bed on an X-Y axis, along with a unique recoater design.
Mark Tyrtania, sales director at Laser Lines, said: “TCT is always a great show for us. Having supplied additive manufacturing equipment for over 25 years, and with a portfolio containing over twenty plastics and metal 3D printer solutions, Laser Lines is in a unique position to offer tailored solutions to meet customer prototyping, production and tooling needs, expectations and budgets. It is a great opportunity for customers looking to buy or upgrade to be able to speak to our expert team to see which solution would suit them best.”
On the booth, visitors will also be able to see MakerBot’s new class of “performance” 3D printers with the Makerbot Method, as well as the latest Form 3 machine from stereolithography leader Formlabs. Also on show will be a range of FDM solutions from Stratasys including the Fortus 450mc and F370, and full colour Stratasys J750.
For visitors looking for more metals, Laser Lines will also be displaying Desktop Metal’s office-friendly Studio System metal printer, and discussing the latest updates from Additive Industries’ MetalFAB1 system.
Laser Lines will be exhibiting on Stand D60 at TCT Show, which runs from September 24-26 at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. Registration for TCT Show and TCT Summit is now open.
