Stratasys is to highlight customer success at the upcoming TCT Show with partners in aerospace and rail travel being put under the spotlight.
Parts from Bombardier, Siemens Mobility, China Eastern Airlines and Diehl Aviation will be exhibited on the stand, while Angel Trains and DB ESG will discuss its experience working with Stratasys 3D printing technology in the opening TCT Summit keynote at 10am on Tuesday September 24th.
At TCT Show, Stratasys will present real-world applications of its certified production-grade materials on Stand C50. One of the focal points of Stratasys’ stand will be a full-size business class aircraft cabin which will demonstrate a number of interior part applications, produced at reduced costs with lightweight and durable designs. Stratasys' ULTEM 9085 material, which can be used to produce flight-ready parts according to flame, smoke and toxicity (FST) regulations, will also be on display. The company will also highlight the progress it is making to certify printed parts for aerospace. Recently, Stratasys launched a public domain database with the National Center for Advanced Materials Performance (NCAMP), America Makes and the FAA.

Turning to the company’s work on the tracks, a number of case studies with the likes of Bombardier and Siemens Mobility will be spotlighted, with Angel Trains and DB ESG talking attendees through their partnership with the vendor on the first day of the show. James Brown, Data and Performance Engineer at Angel Trains will be joined by Martin Stevens, Mechanical Engineering Manager at DB ESG, as details of their collaboration will be discussed. Attendees will hear how the three companies have come together to get final train parts certified to Rail Standard EN45545-2 – a pre-requisite for the train sector – out into the industry. These parts are said to be a step towards eliminating physical inventory and are helping to improve how customers are served.
Meanwhile, Stratasys will also be showcasing the capabilities of its full-colour J750 platform with more customer examples and will give its F120 desktop machine its UK debut. James Short, Stratasys Technical Consultant, North East EMEA, will discuss the F120 system on the Introducing Stage at 1.20pm Tuesday 24th September. A number of Stratasys resellers, including Laser Lines (D60), SYS Systems (C40), and Tri Tech (A100), will also have a presence at the show.
TCT Show will be held from September 24th through to September 26th, with hundreds of vendors showcasing their technologies and industry applications. Meanwhile, the TCT Summit, TCT Introducing Stage, and TCT Tech Stage will host dozens of speakers throughout the week, and on the middle evening the third annual TCT Awards will commence.
