TCT Show
Hot on the heels of the most successful TCT Show + Personalize yet — featuring some 6000 visitors from 48 countries and nearly 200 exhibiting companies — Rapid News Communications Group (RNCG), the company behind the whole TCT portfolio, has announced the Call for Speakers for the 2014 edition of the show.
TCT 2014 will co-locate with RNCG’s tri-annual flagship event for the plastics processing industry, Interplas, and will run over three days at Birmingham’s NEC. The combined events are expected to attract nearly 20,000 visitors — by far the biggest concentration of design, development, manufacturing and engineering professionals in the UK at any time in 2014.
The 2013 edition of the event was marked by an entirely new set up for the TCT conference: a large soundproofed stage, C-Level keynotes, live streaming and full HD recordings that are now available on www.tctshow.com. Over 2000 visitors took part in at least one conference session over the two days inspired by world-class speakers such as Avi Reichental, Scott Crump, Dave Burns, Alice Taylor, Hardi Meybaum, Phil Reeves, Joris Peels, Josh Harker and Todd Grimm.
The organisers are looking to build on the huge success of these groundbreaking sessions with a larger main arena and even more opportunities for the community to engage with top-flight presenters. Accordingly, the organisers are now looking for insightful, educational and entertaining presentations from industry leaders, evangelists, commentators and super users who can shine the spotlight on the technologies and signpost how they will develop in the future.
Presentations on any aspect of 3D printing, additive manufacturing and product development (including the technologies and their uses) will be considered in the first instance to allow the broadest possible education of the eager audience.
James Woodcock, Group Editor and Conference Director, commented: "TCT 2013 was a watershed event and marked a real 'coming of age' not only for the long-established show, but for the whole industry. The success we enjoyed provides a solid platform for growth in 2014 and we expect to surpass this years' event with three days of industry-defining content. We invite anyone to make contact with ideas for presentations and addresses for the 2014 event — whatever your background — if you believe you can inspire, educate and entertain the crowds that we're certain to generate."
TCT Show + Personalize 2014 takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, UK on September 30th-October 2nd 2014. All submissions must come with confirmation that the proposed speaker is able to attend on specified dates.
A working title, 200 word synopsis and speaker credentials are requested no later than Friday 13th December. Submissions should be sent to James Woodcock, Conference Director. Details below.
